Fleur Hill was delighted to be short listed for the Mayor’s Design Awards 2018 for our Foundry Field development in Burnham Market.
The awards celebrate local architectural excellence and craftsmanship and are presented every two years. The awards focus on how a development successfully reflects and enhances its environment and this was something we had strived exceptionally hard to achieve at Foundry Field. As such, we were delighted when this recognised by the Design Awards judges.
The idea of owning a Fleur home within beautiful Brancaster Staithe has proved a very appealing prospect. Much to our delight, we sold all 3 plots at 3@TheWillows and 7-out-of-10 open-market homes at Northshore Place before work had commenced on either site. Testimony to the reputation Fleur has for building well-designed and stylish collections in the loveliest of spots.
Work has now begun at both sites and we are making good progress.
With Plots 8, 10 & 12 at Northshore Place available, if you would like to find out more, please contact Sowerbys on 01328 730340 or email@example.com. The brochure is also available for download on the Northshore Place section of this website.

We are very proud of our Foundry Field development in Burnham Market and were delighted when Fleur Hill, along with our planning partners, Pegasus Group, were awarded the Royal Town Planning Institute’s East of England Award for Planning Excellence 2017.
Foundry Field was a landmark development in Burnham and a key part of the planning process was to understand the needs of the village, as well as sensitively reflect its charm and character. As a result the site not only includes traditional brick and flint homes, but a car park, generous green spaces and thoughtful landscaping.
A new village map has been installed in Burnham Market, designed by local artist Andrew Ruffhead. The new map was sponsored by the Hoste hotel and is situated near to the new retail courtyard, Foundry Place, which was developed by Fleur Hill.
Fleur Hill commissioned the new map after they found Burnham Market to be lacking in tourist information. Brendan Hopkins, owner of The Hoste hotel and spa, said “The Hoste were delighted to sponsor this charming interpretation of Burnham Market village.
“A lot of thought was given to how much should be included such as roads, footpaths, churches, shops, delicatessens and hostelries. The map has been designed to help visitors find their way around and make the most of all there is to see in this beautiful, historic village.’
